Tiferno Mobili - Coloured gesso finish

The manufacturing process

Coloured finishes are reserved for furniture which is coloured and the surface has been primed with a coating of gesso applied with water and a brush in a time-honoured way.

The gesso surface may then be enhanced by means of a classical, spatula-laid treatment according to the customer's preference.

After laying and drying of the gesso, we use a polyurethane protection to make furniture suitable for environments such as kitchen and bathroom.

Finally, the furniture is aged with beeswax to get a warm effect.

You can customize the colours by sending us a sample where it is taken and returned to the final buyer for the last control and approval.
