The manufacturing process

After a period of stabilization a piece of furniture is smoothed and prepared by hand to receive its appropriate colour and finish.

After the smoothing process a sheen is imparted by careful polishing with fine steel wool.

Then the final treatment with beeswax produces a delicate silken effect which is the hallmark of country-style. It brings out the warmth and character of the wood in an entirely natural way.
